25 Unforgettable Television Characters
We spend time with them. We know their personalities. We love them like friends. And when their story ends, we mourn. My mother, the poor dear, cried relentlessly during the last episode of M*A*S*H- I didn't know how to help her. I was only 8 years-old. It was sad. She felt as though someone died. I cried for her.
When Sex and the City ended, I felt like my four best friends turned their fashionable backs on me...am I alone? Is my mother alone? Have you been there too? Tell me! Okay, I'm emotional, so before I lose all marbles, let's go through my list of favorites and hopefully reminisce as one.
- Jack Tripper (Three's Company)
- J.J. (Good Times)
- Archie Bunker (All in the family)
- Rachel (Friends)
- Fonzie (Happy Days)

Wow, perfect list. I smiled and had memories at each one. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
I love this! I would have to add Kevin Arnold, played by Fred Savage from The Wonder Years. I absolutely loved that show! Also, Dan Connor, played by John Goodman from Roseanne. I can watch this show over and over again, even though Roseanne is kind of annoying, because Dan is the redeeming value for me. The series finale always makes me cry!
My list would have to include David Duchovny as Fox Mulder from the X-Files!
:)
Sorry, I don't recognise any of them, let alone remember them, well, except for Kojak.
"as long as you have the friends, the nice car, the home with the pool and the beautiful woman who makes you foam from the mouth, you don't need anything else."
Thanks for posting that clip :)
